Baltimore is too often described in bad terms : "dangerous", "poor", "corrupt"... Those descriptions tend to eclipse its inherent beauty and poetry : a mix of magic, character and resilience, resulting into its unique charm.

Escaping figuration, the images of Baltimore in Between aim to propose a different way of documenting, somewhere between dream and reality.

By playing with the contrast and boundaries of the city, new imaginary places emerge : places existing only on film, where rooftop pools meet vacants houses, where flowers grow in the middle of the ruins, and where strangeness is an invitation to look at the city with a new eye.
